Trade-ins

A trade-in is a trade-in plan (trade_in_plans): the customer’s car and what they want to do with it. Valuers’ offers are valuations (trade_in_valuations) on the plan.

Fields worth knowing

Field Notes
year, make, model, badge, odometer The customer’s car. Odometer in kilometres.
stage Status in the dealer’s process. New plans start as pending.
last_step How far the customer got in the trade-in form.
instant_valuation An automated estimate in cents, when one was given.
trade_in_valuations.value, value_low Valuer offers, in cents.

Like every money value in the API, valuations are in cents: 2650000 is $26,500.
